Coaches are not medical professionals, although some are. They are not personal trainers or certified nutritionists, although some are. Most coaches are just ordinary people who used Beachbody products and realized the potential for other people based on their own results. You do not need a special education, certification or degree. What you need is a willingness to learn and share. The Beachbody experts have taken care of the research, programs, and guidance on working out and eating.

Beachbody Branding Builds Relationships for Beachbody Coach Business
The Beachbody Coach business is relationship marketing at its best with the power of infomercials selling your brand. Promotions are also in other media such as newspapers and magazines as well as trainer events and interviews. The NYTimes.com wrote an excellent three page article on the history and phenomenon of P90X.
Tony Horton, creator of P90X, is the most popular face of Beachbody. As you can see in this article, Horton keeps himself busy promoting P90X and the Beachbody brand by touring all over the world. He facilitates workouts for congress and tours military bases. The P90X brand is known which makes it easier to sell, especially if you combine your own experience with one of Beachbody’s products.
P90X is not the right fitness program for everyone though. That is why Beachbody creates programs for specific groups of people. Insanity is a newer in home dvd program that is pure cardio and uses only your body weight. This has become an incredibly popular workout program for military members who want to get a ripped, fit and in the best shape of their lives.
One of my favorite programs is Turbofire. It is a fun kickboxing, turbo, cardio program by Chalene Johnson. Chalene is a very motivating trainer for women and due to her success with Turbo Jam, has a really strong following among women.
Ten Minute Trainer is Beachbody workout program put together by Tony Horton. This program was designed to extinguish the excuse of not having enough time to workout. Busy stay at home moms with children could do this workout.
Although there are several other examples of targeted Beachbody workout programs (such as Body Gospel, a one of a kind workout routine that uses gospel music, faith, prayer, and journaling), I think you can easily see how the Beachbody brand is out there. As a relationship marketing company, Beachbody is already out there startinmg relationships for thier coaches.
Having a well-known brand and people already thinking about your product before they even know you are a Beachbody Coach is powerful. If you read my profile, you will see that I wanted to know how to sell P90X before I even knew about the Beachbody Coach business. Now, that is powerful.

You can get started for less than $40 for your business kit or take advantage of my favorite starting package that you can only get when you sign up as a new coach. Interview with Tony Horton on the Beachbody Coach Opportunity
Tony Horton talks about how his friends became Beachbody Coaches, the Beachbody Coach Opportunity, and how he is spreading the word about P90X in this audio. I was so impressed with Tony’s interview that I wanted you to hear it for yourself.
Tony talks about how people in all walks of life are using P90X. He spends time with the military touring bases oversees and periodically visits the congressional gym in Washing DC to workout with our elected officials. He talks about the popularity of P90X, that it is used by influential people in all walks of life. Singers, athletes, the military, and even the President and his wife use Beachbody products.
Tony talks about how Beachbody can dramatically change your life and change the lives of the people in your life. That’s what makes being a Beachbody Coach so different from other direct sales businesses. Everyone has heard of Beachbody products. Just wearing the name of one of the Beachbody products like P90X on a hat or t-shirt starts conversations with people.
Tony asks, “what do most people need in this country today more than anything else? Better health and better fitness.” After seven years, P90X is still the number one product. That is why you see it in magazines, newspapers, and on stations such as ESPN. It is because of the quality of Beachbody products. As a Beachbody Coach, you represent the leading company in the home fitness industry.

I have never heard Tony Horton relate the story of how three of his friends became Beachbody Coaches. One of his friends had success with the products but did not believe she could be a successful coach. She is now one of the leading Beachbody Coaches in the company. The other two friends he talks about had varied backgrounds. One was a police officer and the other a financial advisor. I am sure they were following their dreams when they entered their professions.
That is how I felt when I became a business manager and later an officer in the Air Force. Life changes and our goals change. Sometimes, we are looking for supplemental income and sometimes, we are looking for a way to give back to our families, friends, and communities. Like Tony Horton, I have a passion for fitness and Beachbody products. That is why I became a Beachbody Coach.

Are You Ready to Be a Coach?
You could call a Beachbody Coach a fitness coach, but what does it take to be a Team Beachbody Coach? Do you have to be fit and get certified to be a coach?
You know, I was half way through P90X before I heard about the “coaching opportunity”. I kept seeing the commercials at the end of my workouts on my P90X dvds. I still didn’t quite get what they meant about coaching. What I did know is I thought I could sell these programs. They were poplular, well -advertised, and brought results.
I contacted Beachbody to ask about a wholesale opportunity to sell on eBay or perhaps a Beachbody affiliate program. That’s when I learned that I couldn’t sell the P90X on eBay and they didn’t have a P90X affiliate program. I learned that I could partner with the company as a Team Beachbody Coach and retail their brand name in home fitness programs for a 25% commission.
The retail commission is what I wanted. I knew P90X was selling itself. I didn’t even know that other brand recognized fitness programs such as Hip Hop Abs and Turbo Jam were Beachbody products. The whole coaching opportunity was getting more exciting. I found out that I could not only make money retailing, but could also get paid bonuses. I learned about residual income…but then, the doubt came.
Who did I think I was to become a Team Beachbody Coach? I wasn’t a Person Trainer. I wasn’t certified in any type of fitness training. How could I possibly be a fitness coach? I wasn’t even in shape!
Guess what? There’s nothing mysterious about being a coach. All you do is commit to improving your fitness and sharing your experiences with others.
Sharing your experiences deepens your own commitment to fitness. It’s funny how it works that way. You learn about Beachbody by becoming part of the coaching community. You are well supported with a network of coaches and provided with on-going training. You do not need to become a Personal Trainer or get certified in the fitness industry.
So, back to that question about being fit. My answer? Get a fast start by signing up to be a coach as soon as you can. Your story gets bigger as your body gets smaller. Friends, family, and strangers will naturally ask you what you are doing. You are a work in progress, a walking billboard.
Sharing the Beachbody Business Opportunity
It was an awesome experience to to set up at a local work at home tradeshow and showcase the Beachbody business opportunity.
I wore my Shakeology t-shirt that reads “Powered by P90X” on the back. People came over to tell me what they new about our products and to ask questions.
Beachbody spends a lot of money on their infomercials to give our products national brand name recognition. My experience at this trade show really brought that to light.
I had one lady to tell my how great her nephew looked after doing P90X. I asked her to give him my business card because I wanted to talk to him about our coaching business. She was happy to do that and actually ask for two more cards because she knew a couple of other people who experienced great results with our products!
I also met a guy who trains other people using Beachbody programs. I asked him if he was a coach; he had no idea that he could make money sharing Beachbody programs with other people. This is a relationship business. It is perfect for Personal Trainers and other fitness professionals.
What really surprised me was the knowledge of our Shakeology product since it is fairly new. I had two different women approach us just to talk about the benefits of Shakeology. I have a whole website on Shakeology and the benefits of this health shake. We had a good discussion about Shakeology, and I gave them a dvd of doctors actually talking about the benefits.
It was so easy to talk to people about Beachbody workouts and work in home fitness programs. I have personally used several of the programs as you can see by my posts.
I can honestly suggest this business to my friends and anyone interested in making money at home. Like any business, you have to work at it. There was a point in time when I thought about giving it up, but I knew that I had to persist. There are three key ingredients in any new business: a plan, persistence, and passion.
Beachbody has a plan to help you build your business. You have to add the persistence and passion. I work my business part time around a full time job. I do a little every day and follow a plan. I also have a great passion for helping people find the information they need to get healthy and stay healthy.
